Pasta with Tuna and Tomato

Ingredients :-
1 onion, chopped
2 tbs olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
400g can chopped tomatoes with herbs
1 tsp sugar
500g packet pasta bows
100g tuna, drained
handful basil leaves, optional


Methods :-
  1. Fry the onion in the oil for 2 minutes. Stir in the garlic, tomatoes and sugar.
  2. Season, bring to the boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to pack instructions.
  4. Flake the tuna into the sauce and heat through.
  5. Drain the pasta, return to the pan and stir in the sauce and basil.
